Only 2 More Available... The Selwood Sunchaser playset is as much fun as it looks! The super strong roof with bright tarp protects the children rain or shine on both the play deck and the picnic table. The picnic table is bigger, stronger and will accomodate older children than the picnic table on the old Trailblazer. The Sunchaser comes with a 3 position swing beam that has 2 belt swings that are fantastic as is the aerobatic bar!
The super speedy slide comes down from the play deck, which itself is accessable via the safe, combination rock wall ladder. Under the deck area is a sandbox area to keep the little ones happy. The Super Speedy High walled slide will be a big hit!
The playset is made from cedar wood from farmed forests, so you can rest assured that you're not doing the environment any harm. The wood is soft to the touch and has minimal splinters and cracks.
No concrete required! Our playsets have been designed so they can be built directly on top of the ground (a flat, level surface is required, grass is absolutely fine) and comes with fixing stakes which dig into the ground for extra stability.

Manufacturers Limited Warranty
The manufacturer states that the product is free from defect in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. This one (1) year warranty covers all parts including wood, hardware, and accessories. All wood carries a five (5) year pro-rated warranty against rot and decay. Refer to the schedule below for charges associated with replacement of parts under this Limited Warranty. In addition, the manufacturer will replace any parts within the first 60 days from date of purchase found to be missing from or damaged in the original packaging. This warranty applies to the original owner and registrant and is non-transferable. Regular maintenance is required to assure maximum life and performance of this product and failure by the owner to maintain the product according to the maintenance requirements may void this warranty. Maintenance guidelines are provided in the Owner's Manual provided by the manufacturer.
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
- Labour for any inspection or Labour for replacement of any defective item(s)
- Incidental or consequential damages
- Cosmetic defects which do not affect performance or integrity of a part or the entire product
- Vandalism, improper use, failure due to loading or use beyond the capacities stated in the Assembly Manual.
- Acts of nature including but not limited to wind, storms, hail, floods, excessive water exposure
- Improper installation including but not limited to installation on uneven, unlevel, or soft ground
- Minor twisting, warping, checking, or any other natural occurring properties of wood that do not affect performance or integrity.
The manufacturer states that the product has been designed for safety and quality. Any modifications made to the original product could damage the structural integrity of the unit leading to failure and possible injury. Modification voids any and all warranties and the manufacturer will accept no liability for any modified products or consequences resulting from failure of a modified product.
This product is warranted for RESIDENTIAL USE ONLY. Under no circumstance should the product be used in public settings, such use may lead to product failure and potential injury. Any and all public use will void this warranty.

We are very pleased with this product. We have a two yr old that it is just perfect for. She doesn't know what she's missing with the bigger more expensive ones and would not be able to do monkey bars and ropes anyway. Easy to put together, my husband and I did it in close to 6 hours. It's very sturdy. It's perfect! Older kids probably need a bigger one though

We were a bit nervous about assembly after reading all the reviews but we put it together in about 6 hours (excluding table). The trick for us was not doing in order. First we built the club house section and then the swing section and lastly the slide. Anyhow, overall we couldnt be more pleased and its really attractive in the yard. The kids spend all day on it. Dont be overwhelmed by all the pieces just dig in and the work goes super fast with one person reading and getting pieces and the other doing assembly

We ordered this set for our grandchildren in another city. It took my husband and son the equivalent of a full day to put the swing set together but I think their efforts were fully rewarded when our two young grandchildren started playing on their "Park". (two-and five-year-old) They loved it and the adults did, too. This set was the best value for the money of any others that we looked at. We did take the advise of others to mark the pieces and predrill so that made the process go more smoothly. I would highly recommend this product.

If you have two drills use one for drilling and one for driving screws, saves time for switching bits. i recommend having a plug in drill and like everybody else said sort out each piece of wood and letter each piece.

We absolutely love this swing set. I bought it for my 2 year old daughter and she has so much fun. Tip, you should stain the wood before you build ... which can take some time. Usually the wood will need 2 coats and time to dry in between. My husband is very handy, so it took about 8 hours to build. Be sure to take inventory of parts and organize everything before you start. Due to space limitations, we switched the location of the climbing wall and slide and it worked out great. I recommend this swing set.

I purchaced this for my 2 1/2 yr old boy for Christmas. I can't seem to get him off of it. He LOVES it and so do I. It took my husband 5 hours by himself to set it up. He had the right tools to do so. The cedar wood is great for the price we paid compared to other retailers it is worth it. I would definitely buy this again!!

It seems to be a great swing for the price and looks so nice in the yard. My husband and father spent about 8 hours putting it up. They highly recommend marking the wood and laying out all pieces before assembling. We didn't bother with the picnic table and just left it open. Overall a great product, well worth the £’s and effort to get it up.

All in all this is a great playset. My kids absolutely LOVE it! My husband laid out all the boards and labeled them before he started building and said that it helped immensely. I think it took about 8 hrs. for my husband and his brother to actually build the playset-- which includes a brief intermission for food and rest. It's a very attractive playset as well-- the wood and fabric coverings are really nice. So far it's holding up great-- our kids are 7 and 4 and a couple of the neighbor's kids have played on it as well.

My husband and his buddy had it together in about six hours without labeling the lumber. They said it would have been faster had they done so. Lumber quality is ok. Didn't know until after I received it, that even the slide had to be assembled. Overall great product and my daughter loves it, so that's all that matters.

A nice inexpensive swingset - Selwood Adventure Playsets Sunchaser Wooden Play Centre - For what you pay for this set, it's a wonderful set. However, don't expect it to last for years and years. We sealed it before winter even though it says that we didn't have to reseal for a year. However, our boys (5 and 1) love this set! If you can afford more, buy those Backyard Adventures Sets. But, if you have a fixed budget, I do recommend this set

From start to finish the assembly took about 6 hours for my 20 year old brother & 22 year old boyfriend (including me stopping them to eat a sit-down breakfast and lunch). The swingset itself is the perfect size for my little girl-- well worth her smiles & excitement. She likes her swingset and loves the café table so we are all happy! After we finished the set I sat down to swing while my six-foot boyfriend was actually inside the playhouse trying to put the top on it.

My toddler and neices, ranging in ages 2-5, love this swing set. I can easily see them growing into it, as well. The real wood and attractive design look great in our backyard. My husband built it all by himself over a series of three or four days for a few hours at a time. He said it wasn't difficult so long as the builder is familiar with hardware. The assembly is not for a beginner as the set comes with about thirty different sizes of wood. I look forward to this set being a fixture in my yard for years to come. Enjoy!

We purchased this set for our kids, 5 & 16 months. It went up in one day, with only one person building. We did take the time to sort and label all pieces. That took about an hour, the rest took about 8 to build. Everything went relatively smoothly, and we are very happy with this product. I highly recommend it!

The Swing set is awesome. My daughter that is 3 is loving it. It is very sturdy, no wobbling or balance issues even when adults are on it. It took 4 adults, with pretty good tool skills about 8 hours to set up. Expect to drill lots of holes. I agree with other reviews that pre-drilling the screw holes is a good idea. This is a swing set that will grow and grow with our kids. Others were surprised at how expensive it looked. They thought I spent £1,000 and were shocked that the price was so low. Highly recommended!
Sunchaser Cedar Playset
Yeah! it's finally together!, - Selwood Adventure Playsets Sunchaser Wooden Play Centre. We had no major issues constructing, other than we were shorted one board, but then given an extra of another that could be cut for the missing one. I read reviews on this site before purchasing and one person said to mark all the wooden parts ends, with a pencil, with their parts letter. This was a great suggestion and although that took time itself, I am sure it saved time and headache in the end. The two kids it was bought for love it and so far we're all happy with it.

It only took 7 hours with one helper to build. Lots of pieces but very clear instructions. So far its great in the first weekend, it had about seven kids ranging from age 2 to 9 on it and it held up flawlessly. The ground anchors help keep it stabilized.

We looked all around for the right swing set to give my daughter for her 2nd birthday. This one seemed to fit the budget, but we were skeptical about the quality. Some neighbors of ours have the same swing set and have had it for 4 years. They said they loved it, so we went for it. We've had it for a couple weeks now and it's great! It's perfect for my two year old and will be great for years to come. It seems to be very good quality and we are really pleased.. Set up wasn't too bad. It took my husband about 8 hours all total, but that was split into about 4 days and each day he had a helper. It went faster because he had an extra set of hands each time he worked on it. But, he said the directions were pretty good and nothing was too complicated.

I put this thing together by myself while my husband was at work. It took me 9 hours over a span of 3 days. And I am by no means all that handy. I didn't have a single board split on me. Of course I pre drilled to prevent that. And it is just as sturdy as can be. When both of my kids swing at full force, it doesn't sway a single bit. Overall I think it was fairly simple to assemble. And it was a really good deal. I couldn't ask for anything more. My kids love it!!!

It is a good idea to sort and label all wood pieces and also sort the hardware as some of the pieces in our swingset were missing and had to be ordered separately. However, for the price, it is a good value if you don't want a huge swingset that takes up the entire yard. I am a 90 lb female and I am able to sit on the swings with my 3 year old daughter. I believe if put together correctly and with regular weatherization, it will last a good many years. It was well worth the money each time each time I see the joy in my daughters face when she runs to the backyard to fly down the wavy slide!

This swingset is very good for the price. We had been looking for a inexpensive swing set all for ages and did not want a metal one. So we finally decided on this one. Was not that bad putting it together. A couple of wood pieces were split, but we e-mailed the Importer Selwood Products and they sent us new pieces in about 2 days. Overall it is a pretty good economical swing set and I know my kids will enjoy for years. P.S. LABEL ALL THE PIECES FIRST, and sealing it would be a good idea too.

The wood is a nice cedar with no jagged edges for the little ones to get splinters. The directions are well written/laid out in perfect orderly fashion, although putting this playset together will take you some well-spent time! The accessories are all quality materials. You don't have to worry about the swingset "thumping", because it comes w/stakes which hold it in place in the ground. Our 2 children are very happy w/the many activities this playset has to offer!

My wife and I purchased this for our daughter's 3rd birthday and she loved it. She was excited as it was being assembled, which definately does need two people to complete. As for the assembly we only had a couple of minor gliches as we were assembling and not really reading the instructions, but rather following the pictures. So definately read the instructions as well as follow the pictures. The entire structure went together wonderfully easy and without any major flaws.

Wonderful Wooden Playset
Wonderful swing set - Selwood Adventure Playsets Sunchaser Wooden Play Centre. My husband and I just built this over the weekend. It is a wonderful swing set that our daughter will enjoy for years to come. We are impressed with the quality and feel it is very safe. Things to keep in mind though – this is a smaller size swing set. There are two swings and a swing bar. It is perfect for our garden though. You need to sort out and label all the wood pieces before you start. We used electric tools and quickly realized that tightening everything by hand would have been a terrible time consuming job. It still took us a total of about 10 hours to build. It is a very long process but it is well worth it! It is a WONDERFUL product for the price.

Based on this short period of time, I have been very pleased with the product. We had no missing parts, and it does take several hours to assemble. But once finished, it looks attractive in our garden. I do advise you to label all the parts before starting to work on this project. We did not experience the frustration of missing parts and defective materials.

This swingset is worth what you pay for it. It is perfect for our two 2 yr old grandkids, they love it! However, we did substitute safer swings until they grow into the ones provided with the set. LABEL ALL PARTS BEFORE BEGINNING. My husband is very handy and it still took him 6 hours to build this (with a helper) Start early in the day and you may be done with it by suppertime! We bought three sets-one for us and one for each grandchild-and they are getting alot good fun out of each one!

Definately take the time to label each piece of wood and make sure you pre-drill before screwing in the screws. Hardest part of the installation was finding level ground to put it on. Installation took about 7 hours with the help of my 8 yr old daughter. Instructions look overwhelming but really are pretty simple. It's a great set for its price. Only change we made was taking out one of the swings and replacing it with a baby seat style swing for our 2 yr old.

As stated in all other reviews, label the wood prior to starting. A lot of the pieces look identical. It took us an hour to label all the parts. It took almost a whole day to have the playset almost complete (one person working on it).
The wood is soft, but seems quite sturdy. It can withstand the weight of two adults. It has had an 13, 11, 3 and 2 year old all on it at the same time. The fort can handle weight. The picnic table we moved the top down as it was to high for our 3year old to reach. The kids love it and you can't go wrong for the price.

I didn't expect much, but am very satisfied. Yes, label the wood, yes there is drilling, (I am very handy - I'm the home improvement person in my house.) The instructions are very good, I think this set is good for bigger toddlers til about age 8 or so - if you have bigger kids get a bigger set. But my 3 1/2 year old and playmates, all have a really good time. My swingarm beam had a fairly major crack in it, and I dreaded the process of calling the Importer Selwood and having to explain and take pictures, and fight for a replacement, etc - but the customer service person was great. Ordered me a new beam, and it was delivered 3 days later via Tuffnels home delivery. So, yes - I am very satisfied - can't beat the price or the customer service.

It was pretty straight forward putting together it took me about 5 1/2 hours by my self. I was pleased that ALL the parts were there nothing missing or broken. This unit is not for big kids my son is 2 and I figure 5-6 years and I will get him a larger one. Hopefully this one will last for a few years.

This swing set is great for the average garden. Took 6.5 hours to put together with a second adult helper to hold things at times. Power tools are a must! I took about 8 hours to put it up. I will say you need to label your pieces before you start. We did and it made it very helpful. Don't tighten the screws to tight the wood will crack, but overall for a wood swing set and the look on my kids face when we finally got it up was well worth it. They love it.

My kids play on it everyday! Even my 12 year old loves it. The swings are pretty wide so even I can sit in them and swing. I definitely recommend this!

With a little help of 2 other men my husband had it done that next day and my kids have played on it since. They love it. We purchased this swing set for our two daughters (2 and 4.) They LOVE playing on it. We spend more time in our garden now. I used a previous customer's on-line suggestion to use chalk to label all of the wood pieces, and I think it saved me a lot of time and frustration. The hardware (nuts, bolts, etc...) was all well-labeled and easy to use. It took a friend and me 5 hours to put it together (which was A LOT faster than I expected!) Overall, I'm very pleased with this swing set and it's reasonable price.

The swingset took my husband and stepfather 6 hours to put it together. It took my husband and I 2 hours to label all the pieces and lay them all out. Some of the drilled holes did not line up,so they had to drill new holes. We have a big garden ,but not alot of space so this is the perfect swingset for us. We bought it for our son's 7th birthday. He loves it!!!!! I would recommend this swingset to a friend. It is an all day project, but it's worth it.

Sure it takes a little time to assemble, and it will not last ten years without some maintenance but no play set will. Besides after a few years the kids will not be interested anymore in the thing. My husband and I had actually looked at some of the more expensive swingsets. This swingset has good reviews & it just happened to be very reasonably priced! My husband had two other handy men to help put the swingset together. It took them about 7 hours total (split into two days). They did not have any problems that I am aware of. Our 5 yr old loves it (as well as his little friends). Our 1 yr old is too small for it yet, but I know she will enjoy it alot when she is big enough. The reason I love this swingset is because it reminds you of the bigger ones, but it is on a smaller scale. Perfect for our small garden. We are very pleased with this purchase!

All the parts were there and the quality is fine. Sorting parts took about an hour or two. I labeled the boards as I sorted them. It took my husband and myself about 9 hours to assemble and we aren't the most handy people.

We have spent 4-6 hours a day for the past 5 days out there. I agree with some other reviews, it is well worth the price but you do get what you pay for.

Took close to 8 hours to do EVERYTHING (including putting down type one base). A few tips, seperating & labeling wood (as mentioned many times) helped a great deal. All items were in box, no problems with that. Did have friend that told me spraying all screws & bolts with WD40 before putting them in, greatly reduces splits in wood, and boy did it. Also, putting down all 6 staked greatly reduced swingset movement. Great deal, looks fantastic in my back yard.

I read in detail the comments before purchasing. It was well within the price range we wanted so it looked good. I sealed all the wood parts before assembly which took some time, but will be worth it. We also labeled every board before hand, which was a HUGE help. It took my father and I the better part of the day, but everything was pretty straight forward. All the boards and fasteners were there, nothing missing. My daughter loves it!. A great buy for the money. Just be sure to seal the boards, and label parts!

If you are thinking of doing the same, forget it! This product is the best value for your money for the age group. All of the hardware was there and the instructions were very detailed. (I think they were recently updated). Do allow plenty of time to assemble. It is worth every minute and dollar you spend on it.

We were able to purchase 2 toddler swings separately as she is only 2 and they fit on the swing set nicely. I was impressed that she and her cousin who is 18 months, were able to climb up to the slide using the "rock wall". It didn't take much coaxing and was not difficult for them to do at all. Something to keep in mind - it is built for smaller children and not adults. I do not recommend swinging alongside your child as the frame is not built to hold an adult's weight. Overall, a great swing set that will last for years.

I was nervous when only two average size boxes were delivered to my house. How could the whole swingset fit in there? Somehow it did. We hired a handyman to build the set because my husband works long hours and would never have gotten around to it. Once the set was together my 2 kids, ages 2 and 6 loved it. The slide is great. My little guy easily climbs the ladder and holds onto the high blue sidesof the slide to safely come down. My tall 6 year old also manges the slide without bumping her head on the wooden bar at the top of the slide. They brilliantly made an arched cut out on this bar which many of the expensive swingsets did not do. I am 98% happy with the set. It fits perfectly in my small garden and has exactly what I need to entertain my kids. All in all I am pleased with my purchase and I hope the set will hold up for several years.

This is a great product. Labeling all parts before you start was helpful and we weather proofed it because we live in the dessert and the sun is very hard on anything that stays outside. It took both me and my husband to build it. It took several hours but we were prepared for it all. We made some changes to it so it will accomidate the area we were placing the playset. Our grandkids love it and help us build it as we went along. Over all for the price it is a great playsets and a big suprise there was no problem or missing parts.

I purchased this swing set for my daughters 3rd birthday. I had it shipped to my home. it arrived in a timely manor and the delivery guy was kind enough to put it in the back yard for me. The box had some visible damage and there were minor dings and dents in some of the pieces. I knew ahead of time that the parts were not labeled, thanks to many helpful reviewers, I went through and identified each piece and labeled w/ a pencil. My husband put it together with minor complaints about some holes not being aligned properly and having to drill holes. No biggie. It is pretty sturdy and looks much nicer than the metal swing sets. When all was said and done, it was worth it! The smiles when my daughter first saw her new park!

My three and half year old daughter loves it. She exclaimed, "Now we don't have to go to the park anymore!". Few tips though: (a) take time to label ALL parts - will make your life easier. (b) Use FLAT ground to sub-assemble the swing (c) have a good drill (d) keep that kid away while you assemble the swing. I kept hearing, "Daddy, are you almost done? It's taking too long!" In the end, you will be hard pressed to find a better deal for the money. We highly recommend the product!

I bought this for my backyard daycare area. I have 2-4 yr olds. It took me (35yr old female) about an hour with a 3 yr old hanging around to label the wood pieces. It wasn't bad at all. The directions were pretty simple. Follow each step and you should have no problems. The main beam was cracked all the way across but, I was told because the swing bolts holding it the oposite direction of the crack that, that should be enough support. It took me and another man 7 hrs to put it together. This is including eating and attending to children. So, overall I would recommend this product.

My in-laws bought this swingset for their house and so far our kids love it. For the price it seems like a good value - especially for wood construction. The kids love the table too. I would recommend this set for the 3-9 age range. There is enough to accommodate various ages. For example, the set we have at our house has a trapeze bar also but it is so high that our kids can't even use it. This one has a low setting for the swings and trapeze bar so younger ones can enjoy them too.

I just purchased this swing set yesterday for my 3 yr old and 13 year old. According to weight limits 13 yr old should be ok on swing area even though it says for 10 yr old. THIS SWING SET IS GREAT! We do not have a large back yard and this is perfect. It does not take up the entire yard. It does take some time to put together. Took my husband and I about 6 hours. We marked all wood before we started which took a little time but I think it made all the difference in getting the right pieces.

This swingset is an ideal size for an average sized city garden like mine. Definitely take the time to go through all of the wood pieces and prelabel everything... beware that the only difference between some of the pieces is the spacing of the holes in the boards. Be sure to pre drill everything; it makes for a much smoother process. Just take your time and read through the instructions and you should be just fine putting this together. All in all the instructions were easy enough to follow and my 3 year old is in heaven. Sure beats going to the park every day!

Installation took 6 hours to get everything assembled. The slide assembly was very hard. It took our whole family to put it together. We had the kids sitting at differnt point on the slide while one of us held the end and the other put in all of the screws. Once all of the pieces were in place, the play yard was very structually sound. TIP: sort all of the boards and hardware before hand, we actually labled everything with masking tape. Since the set was completed, our girls started playing on it. They LOVE it and are outside all the time playing on/in it. Great play yard for our family!

We purchased this swing set for our almost 2 year old son and for another 2 year old that I watch during the week. It did take my husband 9 hours with an extra set of hands to put together..but the finished product id worth it. The swingset is good looking so it doesn't take away from your backyard but adds to it. The boys love the swings and climbing up and sliding. I love the high sides on the slide and the fact that the top level has sides so they won't fall off.

The hardware is labeled in individual packages and so that was really convenient. I was able to put this whole thing together over a 3 day period by myself, working a few hours each day on it. I didn't have to make any extra holes that weren't stated in the directions. The whole thing went together just like the directions stated. It is very sturdy and my daughter loves it!!! She has played on it everyday since we bought it. I really like the size of it and it fits in our backyard nicely. Anything else would have been too big.

We love the swing set. It only took about 5 hrs to put together, with 2 people working on it. I would strongly recommend this product. Our daughter who just turned 2, loves it.
