The exclusive Backyard Adventures' ® compression clamp is made with high quality 12-gauge powder-coated steel. Our superior clamp design has been tested by certified independent laboratories and proven for nearly 14 years in the residential playground industry. Like two bear claws, the clamp wraps around both boards and then is compressed over the joint to give superior strength.
The hardware will never wear into the wood because it is protected by the clamp, yet holds firm and secure.
