The large playdeck above also supplied plenty of space to sit and chat under the cover of the UV resistant tarp, similarly with the picnic table. The flat steps provide an easy entrance and the 2.2 m long speedy slide provides a great exit route!
The swing beam features two high quality belt swings with soft grip rope and the always popular 2-child back-to-back glider! As with all of our other sets, we have a wide range of swing accessories that are interchangeable with the belt swings to provide even more variation.
No concrete required! Our playsets have been designed so they can be built directly on top of the ground (a flat, level surface is required, grass is absolutely fine) and comes with fixing stakes which dig into the ground for extra stability.

Manufacturers Limited Warranty
The manufacturer states that the product is free from defect in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. This one (1) year warranty covers all parts including wood, hardware, and accessories. All wood carries a five (5) year pro-rated warranty against rot and decay. Refer to the schedule below for charges associated with replacement of parts under this Limited Warranty. In addition, the manufacturer will replace any parts within the first 60 days from date of purchase found to be missing from or damaged in the original packaging. This warranty applies to the original owner and registrant and is non-transferable. Regular maintenance is required to assure maximum life and performance of this product and failure by the owner to maintain the product according to the maintenance requirements may void this warranty. Maintenance guidelines are provided in the Owner's Manual provided by the manufacturer.
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
- Labour for any inspection or Labour for replacement of any defective item(s)
- Incidental or consequential damages
- Cosmetic defects which do not affect performance or integrity of a part or the entire product
- Vandalism, improper use, failure due to loading or use beyond the capacities stated in the Assembly Manual.
- Acts of nature including but not limited to wind, storms, hail, floods, excessive water exposure
- Improper installation including but not limited to installation on uneven, unlevel, or soft ground
- Minor twisting, warping, checking, or any other natural occurring properties of wood that do not affect performance or integrity.
The manufacturer states that the product has been designed for safety and quality. Any modifications made to the original product could damage the structural integrity of the unit leading to failure and possible injury. Modification voids any and all warranties and the manufacturer will accept no liability for any modified products or consequences resulting from failure of a modified product.
This product is warranted for RESIDENTIAL USE ONLY. Under no circumstance should the product be used in public settings, such use may lead to product failure and potential injury. Any and all public use will void this warranty.

Would definitely recommend
Fantastic climbing frame and although it's a lot to put together, the instructions are excellent so as long as you follow these, you should be fine! (All wood is labelled) Only downside is that the ropes for the swings are far too long (even on their highest setting). My kids (aged 2 and 6) love it though - would definitely recommend.

EXCELLENT
I realise it is easy to leave excellent as feedback but the whole experience was as good as could possibly be expected. The delivery lads had no issue with moving the boxes, the build was a day of fun with my brother and the amazement on the kids faces and the daily hours of fun make the already cheap price of the product an absolute bargain. Can't thank you enough and recommend to all parents whose children use the climbing frame at every opportunity.
Lovely Wooden Swing Set
This product far exceeded my expectations! My 21 month old daughter absolutely loves this play set. As with most of the reviews it is quite challenging to put together. Labeling all of your parts is imperative. It took 2 adults 10 hours to complete the set and we had a fantastic time doing it. I would highly recommend this product!
Cute Playhouse under Fort
This set is beauitiful, and our 3 and 7 year olds will love it! However, you better have a whole day to build! Cute Playhouse under . The wood should be sorted by length/width and holes before ever starting! I would also recommend sealing it with some kind of wood treatment upon completion! The instructions are critical! Make sure each piece is the right one and the right screws. There are no extra pieces !
Meridian Grande is a big Swingset
Purchased for our 2 year old grandson. Product is very high quality, heavy and sturdy, especially for the price paid. It took 2 men (dad and uncle) about 10 hrs. over 2-1/2 days to assemble. This is a big swingset and luckily our Children have a big garden, They read the instructions, organized all the parts, numbered and pre-drilled wood pieces. Our grandson absolutely loves the set. It's the perfect size for him now, and he should be able to use it for many years to come, along with future grandchildren!
Great Addition to the Garden
This playset added fun to our Garden! Our daughter is 5 yrs old and this set is perfect for her to grow on over the next few yrs! We hired a pro installer recommended by Climbing Frames UK for an additional £350 but it was worth it! The installer and his helper took just over 10 hours!!! But, for £1000 compared to other outdoor play set retailers of £3000+ or more for the same size/quality, we feel this is an exceptional value!
Meridian is Fantastic
We were very pleasantly surprised at how easily this went together. It was pretty time consuming but we went slowly to make sure we had it right. We spent about 2 hours sorting and labeling all the pieces. This was a tremendous benefit later. When we needed a piece it was easy to find. We aren't carpenters by any means and it took us about 8 hours of actual construction so far. All we have left to do is put up the swings, glider, slide, and ladders. It is a very nice looking set and the kids love it already.
Quick Delivery and love the Meridian Play Centre
I purchased this unit online at Climbing Frames UK and it was delivered in 3 days. It comes in 3 boxes. 1 box contains the slide and other swingset accessories (glider, swings, metal brackets, swings, and plastic items). The other two boxes contain the wood pieces and hardware package. At first glance it seems overwhelming but, if you will take the time to match up the wood pieces to the directions listing and MARK the pieces, your project will become easier. The bags of hexbolts, deck screws, washers, etc are marked - to that's no problem at all. Be prepared to spend some time reading the instructions as you build and be sure to orient the parts as you build according to the directions. Have an extra battery or 2 charged as well for your driver/drill. You'll need a 1/2 socket, level, square, hammer, 3/8 bit, 3/16 bit and a Philips Bit. Bring your patience. Just think - after this project - any other project will be a piece of cake. You can do it - watching the kids enjoy will be worth the effort.
My Children Love the Selwood Meridian
My children love this set. Yes, it takes some time to put together - my husband did it mostly by himself. As the others have said, just be sure to label all parts first and it will go much more smoothly.
Meridian is a lovely Playset for the price
This is a really nice Climbing Frame for the price. The house is so cute! It took 3 adults 12 hours to put together. I followed some other reviewers advice and sorted and labeled all the wood pieces. I also sorted all the hardware and put into baggies and labeled which page number they belonged to on the instructions. This made things go quicker. I would recommend this product. Our daughter plays with it every day.
The Meridian Playhouse was a big hit
My son and I followed the instruction and construction of the swing set was fairly easy, but takes a long time to complete. When it is all put together the swing set looks great. My grandaughter loves it.
Lots and lots of Play Value
The swing set is everything we thought it would be and more. Our kids absolutely love it. It has as much extras with it as you would find with your more expensive swing sets. After reading some of the other reviews I was afraid it would be difficult to put together or not sturdy. Instead my husband and I (while watching our 2 and 5 year olds) put it together in 2 days. The set is very sturdy and the children are loving it. The one tip I have is to group all the like pieces together and lay your hardware out on an even surface.
Children love the Meridian Swingset
The kids love this swingset. It is a great value. The instructions are fairly easy to follow, however there are many of them and the time invested was easily 20+ hours. The wood is not labeled, but thankfully the hardware was. Would also recommend using at least 2 power drills, one for pre-drilling and the other for screwing bolts and screws. Overall, the Climbing Frame / Swingset is a success, just plan on a good weekend to complete it.
The Meridians Fort & Playhouse is a winner
My kids love this playhouse swing set. They play on it everyday. It looks really nice and its very sturdy. My husband and I put it together in about 12 hours. Its simple to put together, it just takes a long time. The instructions are easy to read. You should label everything before you start or you will spend a lot of time trying to figure out which piece you need next. I used a marker on it but now wish I had used something else because it has letters all over it, so maybe use stickers or something that will wash off easy. Its time consuming but in the end when the kids get to play on it and you see how happy it makes them you will think its well worth the time you put into it.
Meridian Playset
After looking several weeks for a wooden swingset to buy for our son, we decided on this one mainly due to the customer reviews and cost. We are glad that we did. It was time consuming to layout, label and put together, however, my husband and father-in-law were able to put it up in 1 day. Not too bad! Our son and the neighborhood kids love it! A few pieces of the wood were broken, however my husband sanded them down and made them work. We believe it was from the shipping. We are happy with our purchase!
For the Money Meridian is the best
For the money, I could not find anything better in the UK. We wanted Monkey Bars, and Swings but don’t like them combined. Took me 1 day to build myself. About 10 hours total time. I did not label all parts. Went together flawlessly with no alterations needed. My daughter and her friends have a blast on it. Great product! Great Value!
