The Roseberry Deluxe Climbing Frame is part of the Selwood Products Infinity Series.
The Roseberry Deluxe comes with our 2012 upgraded, supersized, engineered uprights (legs), giving the climbing frame even greater stability, strength and a stunning aesthetic. These engineered cedar uprights are now 8cm x 8cm and have been developed to give much less cracking, checking and twisting than in standard pine or spruce larger dimensional lumber. Our new uprights are soft to the touch, super-strong and are free from splinters, sharp edges or deep cracks that could harm your children’s hands. The Selwood Products brand is synonymous with safety, fun and family.
The Roseberry Deluxe is an attractive looking climbing frame with a huge range of features and lots of attention to detail. What’s great about the Roseberry is that it includes not just 1 fully enclosed playhouse but 2 as well as our brand new monkey bar/swing combo beam. This is all in addition to the other fantastic play apparatus the set showcases.
The upper play deck is 150cm off the ground and measures an area of 220cm by 110cm. The fully functional flowerbox and beautiful dorma window, along with the fully wooden roof and sun burst detail, makes this set stand out from the rest. If children need to make a swift exit from the upper deck they can zip down the 220cm straight, wavy slide. We have made sure that safety is our primary concern with all our play equipment, and our slides are no different. The straight, wavy slide has high railed sides and a flattened out bottom so children land safely on their feet rather than straight into the mud.
Once on the ground they can make the most of the multi-functional lower playhouse. To the front of the frame is the bay window giving it a real homely feel and to the rear is a large window with 2 café style stools attached below. This can be used to play shops or restaurants or even for just having a snack and a rest.
After all the resting some good old-fashioned fun is required. Our monkey bar/swing beam combo houses 2 belt swings and a 2 child glider as well as the all-important monkey bars. If they’re more interested in climbing than monkeying around there is the solid, wavy rockwall. This has multi-coloured professional style plastic rocks ideal for little hands as well as a slight wave detail for an extra challenge. The rockwall leads up to a spacious balcony giving a great view of the garden. There is even space below the balcony to transform it easily into a sand play area.
The Roseberry Deluxe playset is manufactured from cedar wood and pre-stained with an attractive redwood stain. The wood is also pre-cut and pre-drilled which helps make home-build as easy as possible. We also supply an illustrated owner’s manual showing you exactly how to build the set. All you’ll need is basic DIY tools.
This climbing frame is designed for children aged between 3 and 10 years of age and is tested (EN-71 & ASTM) to meet requirements for private residential use – this set is not suitable for commercial use.
The Roseberry Deluxe includes the following product features;
Straight Slide
Straight slide with an added wave for a thrilling descent! Our sides have extra high rails at the top of slide to help children get onto the slide and help prevent any falls. The bottom of the slide is flatter, to help children end with their feet (and not their bottoms!) on the ground. No more bumps and bruises and no more grass stains! The slides are made of durable, green plastic - a perfect colour choice during the summer as it won't attract the bugs! We have also reinforced the rear of our slides to make them extra strong, and to easily stand up to children running the wrong way up them!
Monkey Bars
Monkey Bars are great fun as kids love to climb, hang and swing like monkey's, you can buy wooden money bar climbing frames with play equipment or on their own. Monkey bars are a great addition to a climbing frame and our wooden monkey bar set can be added to most of our climbing frame models.
Monkey bars offer the perfect excuse for kids to monkey around while building their core strength and improving their motor skills. Using monkey bars will help children improve their upper body strength, which will help with their posture and physical well being.
Our monkey bar climbers come in two varieties, the stand alone monkey bar, or the combination monkey bar and swings. Both have a ladder at the end, and easy grip rungs long the horizontal monkey climber. The monkey bar's are normally about 1.8m (6ft) from the ground.
Our monkey bars are manufactured from the same quality cedar wood as our climbing frames so they will come with a matching stain and wood finish. You can also be confident that our monkey bars will last, as cedar is resistant to rot, mold and insect infestation. They are specifically designed to be soft to touch so they are gentle on young hands so your children will spend more time enjoying their playset with no worries about splinters.
Our combination monkey bar climbers also offer the opportunity to have swings, or swing accessories attached to the beam too. This offers the opportunity to maximize space in your garden, so if you have a smaller garden you can still have both a swings and a monkey bar so you children get maximum enjoyment from their playset. Safety Notice: We advise Swings & Swing Accessories should be removed from a combination monkey bar swing before using it as a monkey bar.
Ladder
Ladders provide a safe and easy entry into a climbing frame utilising easy grip rungs or flat steps to allow children to safely get up onto the playset deck to access the additional features such as cabin windows, chalk wall, or slide entrance. Step ladders also enable safe exit from a treehouse fort.
1.5m (5ft) High Deck
The 1.52m (5ft) play deck height refers to the distance from the ground to the floor of the deck. Therefore the higher the deck height the further from the ground the deck is, the longer the rockwall to get up, and the slide to ride down.
Which deck height is most suitable for my children?
The higher the height of the deck the more challenging and adventurous the climbing frame becomes. The climb up to the deck is higher and the slide down is longer. The higher deck means that as your children grow they will still be able to get enjoyment from their frame even as they get much older.
One great benefit of purchasing a climbing frame with a 1.5m (5ft) deck height is that the deck size also increases as the deck gets higher. This means the playsets are able to cater to several siblings, and their friends without any problem at all, and as the older ones can still play on it they are kept busy and active too.
2-Child Glider
The glider swing allows two children to ride back-to-back and is compatible with all of our Selwood Products playsets. Brilliant news for those with a smaller garden but with more than two children! Naturally, it can also be used by just one child too! Made of yellow and green plastic, the glider complements your climbing frame wonderfully enabling multiple children to play together, and to offer a safe and secure swing to use before children can swing on their own normal swing seat.
Wooden Roof
Climbing frames with fully wooden roofs look amazing in your garden and provide your with a strong sturdy playset that will protect them from sunshine or rain.
Our playsets come with either a vinyl tarp roof, or a fully wooden roof.
Playhouse Package
Climbing Frames UK has a huge range of playsets and wooden climbing frames with fully incorporated wooden playhouse packages. The playhouse is situated directly below the fort play deck, and includes a door, two playhouse windows and a serving wall with two stools.
Large Gardens
Those lucky things with large gardens will be able to make the most of our super-duper larger climbing frames. Although all our playsets have a wonderful range of play features, it makes sense that the bigger playsets can accommodate more features such as the monkey bars. Large gardens are also able to make the most of our wide variety of accessories and additional extras like picnic tables, wooden playhouses or sand tables.
Solid Rockwall
The solid rock wall features multi-coloured climbing rocks and wavy detailing at the edges. This climbing rock wall is great for older children who are up for a challenge! Not only it is fun to use but also has physical benefits such as improving children’s motor skills, hand-eye coordination and upper and lower body strength.

When sat on, our flexible belt swing seats grip the hips and provide a comfortable and supportive seat for your child as they swing. They are also designed to clip on and clip off should you wish to swap them with either a baby bucket or a trapeze.
