The Audley boasts a huge range of features to keep children occupied for hours. The lower playhouse is partially enclosed with a café style opening at the front, just the place for playing shops or restaurants. The two café stools and sun canopy provide the ideal setting to relax from all the sliding, climbing and swinging. The Audley Climbing Frame is part of the Selwood Infinity Series.
The play deck is 150cm from the ground and 220cm by 110cm. It can be reached either by the ladder at the rear of the frame or the solid rock wall at the front. The rock wall features professional style moulded rocks which are easy to grip. It also has a slight wave adding that little bit of a challenge to more accomplished climbers. Just like the lower playhouse, the upper deck is completely enclosed with 3 small windows on the front and rear walls. The play deck is covered by an elegant wooden roof which features a small skylight so the little ones have shelter from the rain and shade from the sun, perfect for year-round playing.
With the addition of a ground sheet the area below the balcony can be quickly and simply transformed into a sand play area or even a ball pit area to give this climbing frame yet another function. The Audley has a curved wavy slide which guarantees to give its riders a truly thrilling experience. Whilst the top of the slide is high railed to keep children safely in place, the end of the slide is flattened to ensure they make a safe exit and land on their feet not their bottoms. This frame features our clever monkey bar/swing combo beam which is a great space saver and a fun addition to any climbing frame. It also comes complete with 2 belt swings and a trapeze bar. The trapeze bar will keep little climbers occupied for hours, practising their tricks and working on their routines.
The Audley is manufactured from cedar wood and pre-stained with an attractive redwood stain. The wood is also pre-cut and pre-drilled which helps make home-build as easy as possible. We also supply an illustrated owner’s manual showing you exactly how to build the set. All you’ll need is basic DIY tools.
Our Climbing Frames are all free standing and cementing them into the ground is unnecessary, but to provide added stability, the Audley comes with a set of ground stakes, which fix it to the ground.
This climbing frame is designed for children aged between 3 and 10 years of age and is tested (EN-71 & ASTM) to meet requirements for private residential use – this set is not suitable for commercial use.

Curved Slide
Curved slides look great and have a slightly longer ride too! The curved slide is an ideal option for those with a shorter garden as the slide starts from the side of the frame and finishes at the front. Our slides have extra high side rails to help children get onto the slide. The bottom of the slide is flatter to help children end with their feet (and not their bottoms!) on the ground. No more bumps and bruises and no more grass stains! This 90 degree curved slide is exclusive to our Selwood Products sets too.
Rockwall Ladder
This slatted rock wall ladder offers the best of both worlds for little climbers. For those who are feeling a little more adventurous, the moulded plastic climbing rocks are a natural choice for a daring climb. For those with a little less confidence, then the spaces between the ladder slats will provide an easier ascent to the top! The spaces between the slats are also easy to climb down - ideal if the queue for the slide is too long! Our rockwall ladders are a combination to ensure that all ages of children can enjoy them and maximise their use from the playset.
Monkey Bars
Monkey Bars are great fun as kids love to climb, hang and swing like monkey's, you can buy wooden money bar climbing frames with play equipment or on their own. Monkey bars are a great addition to a climbing frame and our wooden monkey bar set can be added to most of our climbing frame models.
Monkey bars offer the perfect excuse for kids to monkey around while building their core strength and improving their motor skills. Using monkey bars will help children improve their upper body strength, which will help with their posture and physical well being.
Our monkey bar climbers come in two varieties, the stand alone monkey bar, or the combination monkey bar and swings. Both have a ladder at the end, and easy grip rungs long the horizontal monkey climber. The monkey bar's are normally about 1.8m (6ft) from the ground.
Our monkey bars are manufactured from the same quality cedar wood as our climbing frames so they will come with a matching stain and wood finish. You can also be confident that our monkey bars will last, as cedar is resistant to rot, mold and insect infestation. They are specifically designed to be soft to touch so they are gentle on young hands so your children will spend more time enjoying their playset with no worries about splinters.
Our combination monkey bar climbers also offer the opportunity to have swings, or swing accessories attached to the beam too. This offers the opportunity to maximize space in your garden, so if you have a smaller garden you can still have both a swings and a monkey bar so you children get maximum enjoyment from their playset. Safety Notice: We advise Swings & Swing Accessories should be removed from a combination monkey bar swing before using it as a monkey bar.
Ladder
Ladders provide a safe and easy entry into a climbing frame utilising easy grip rungs or flat steps to allow children to safely get up onto the playset deck to access the additional features such as cabin windows, chalk wall, or slide entrance. Step ladders also enable safe exit from a treehouse fort.
1.5m (5ft) High Deck
The 1.52m (5ft) play deck height refers to the distance from the ground to the floor of the deck. Therefore the higher the deck height the further from the ground the deck is, the longer the rockwall to get up, and the slide to ride down.
Which deck height is most suitable for my children?
The higher the height of the deck the more challenging and adventurous the climbing frame becomes. The climb up to the deck is higher and the slide down is longer. The higher deck means that as your children grow they will still be able to get enjoyment from their frame even as they get much older.
One great benefit of purchasing a climbing frame with a 1.5m (5ft) deck height is that the deck size also increases as the deck gets higher. This means the playsets are able to cater to several siblings, and their friends without any problem at all, and as the older ones can still play on it they are kept busy and active too.
Wooden Roof
Climbing frames with fully wooden roofs look amazing in your garden and provide your with a strong sturdy playset that will protect them from sunshine or rain.
Our playsets come with either a vinyl tarp roof, or a fully wooden roof.
Sandpit Area
Climbing Frames UK have a huge range of playsets and wooden climbing frames with a sand pit area below the fort deck. Simply add a weed suppressant membrane and some bags of play sand and you'll have a fantastic sandbox for your children to play in.
Medium Garden
Medium gardens make a great home for a whole host of our fabulous climbing frames. However, we do advise that you carefully consider the size of the garden you plan to put the climbing frame in before making your final decision. We have a fantastic range of climbing frames that are ideal for those with medium sized gardens. Large Gardens
Those lucky things with large gardens will be able to make the most of our super-duper larger climbing frames. Although all our playsets have a wonderful range of play features, it makes sense that the bigger playsets can accommodate more features such as the monkey bars. Large gardens are also able to make the most of our wide variety of accessories and additional extras like picnic tables, wooden playhouses or sand tables.
Swings
Swings have been around forever and everyone remembers enjoying swings from their childhood, whether it be playing at the park, or a tyre or rope in the tree at home, we all seem to have fond memories. Playing with siblings and friends, swinging across ditches or spinning round-and-round.
When sat on, our flexible belt swing seats grip the hips and provide a comfortable and supportive seat for your child as they swing. They are also designed to clip on and clip off should you wish to swap them with either a baby bucket or a trapeze.
