The Selwood Products Savannah Playhouse is constructed of 100% Cedar.

Question: Does the Playhouse require concreting into the ground?
The Savannah Playhouseis designed to be ground mounted if you want to permanently fix then we suggest a concrete base or paving slabs a base.  Othewise you can ground mount and move for lawn cutting! .

Question: Does the Savannah Playhouse come with pre-drilled wood that is stained.
Yes, the wood is pre-drilled (apart from holes connecting walls), the panels are pre made and have a factory applied stain.

Question: Does the item come with assembly instructions?
The Savannah has a detailed picture based assembly booklet to make install much simpler.

Question: What tools are required for build and how long would it take to construct?
Standard build is half a day. The assembly manual lists tools.

Question: Do I get everything pictured in the image?
Yes the Savannah Play House comes with all you see apart from the Flowers, just check out the specification.

Great Value for the Price

Savannah Playhouse

This house is a great value for the price! Most affordable wooden playhouse I found and just as cute as the pricier models. My 4 yr old loves the working windows and doorbell. Only cons are the lack of a floor and poorly written instructions. We built a floor of treated plywood and landscape timbers to compensate. (Be sure to look at the pictures closely for detailed differences in the parts as you put it together.)

Woodbridge Playset

I bought two sets of this swing set, one for each set of grand children. I put both sets together. It was sure easier the second time. The first set arrived with almost all the stickers fallen off the boards.  With the second set they were all attached, we organized the boards in order by number, and this saved a huge amount of time. You do need flat ground, or need to be prepared to level it in some other way. But, the kids love it when it is done.

First of all this house is extremely heavy to carry to whatever location you are placing it, it is true hard wood, all the holes have to be pre-drilled by you, and it takes a few hours to be put together. The shutters actually open and close and the door bell rings. My kids love it, wanted to play in it before it was completed. Plenty of room inside for a kitchen set, small table and chairs. An average height adult can go inside and roam around standing up.

I dont see how anyone had a problem putting this together! This was the easiest thing I have ever put together for my daughter. It only took me one adult and 3 hours. After I moved 4 feet of snow and layed down a slab of concrete. This was so much fun for my daughter and I put together. I put it together during the dark hours (there are many in alaska) and we started playing that evening. We put it together in the cold and took warm up breaks and we only took 3 hours. As long as you can understand pictures you can built this! We ran electric to it and wearther proofed the door. This is sooooooooooooo easy to built. Anyone who can use a drill can built it.

This house is SO cute and so quality compared with other houses in this price range. If you are looking for something better than a plastic house, but don't have thousands to spend, this is the house for you.

Savannah Playhouse - Selwood Products

This playhouse is wonderful, good quality construction, adorable attention to detail and much bigger then others at the same price. We built a deck around ours and the kids beg to play in it all day, everyday. The rain stays completely out of the house and it withstood a tree from our backyard falling on it.
